It’s so easy to pass off another ‘walking event’ as just another fundraiser.  However, little do we realise or understand the impact attending these events can have.

The congregation at St Andrew’s Lutheran Church came together to celebrate Pentecost. The text of John 3:16 was read in 21 languages. Can you guess what they were?

Delegates at this year’s LCAQD Synod recycled 364 bottles of drinks, filling three huge bags to recycle to go towards filling 182 empty tummies.

I have notified the District Church Board chair Shiron Dixon, Bishop Paul Smith and also the principal of Redeemer Lutheran College, Tanya Crooks that God has led me to accept the call issued by Convention of Synod.

This year’s Synod was my first ever Synod. I wasn’t a delegate this time round as I was representing LYQ. As someone who has only been in the state several months, it was a great way to see what is happening in the district and meet lots of people.

Bethany McGibbon and her team at QLECS have a goal to see every Lutheran early childhood service engaging in regular ‘Jesus Time’ with all their children.

On 30 March at St John’s Corinda, Pastor Tim Jaensch, LCAQD President Emeritus, was commended into the everlasting arms of our Good Shepherd, Jesus.
