Milton Eckermann was the founding Coordinator of Lutheran Community Care, established in the late 1990s by the Lutheran Church of Australia Queensland District.

Pastor Marinus Hofman was born on 9 July 1929 and passed away on 1 June 2025. He was ordained on 13 December 1970.

Olga Roennfeldt (nee Reuther) passed away on Friday, 6 June 2025, aged 100 years. Olga celebrated her milestone birthday in March this year.

With the passing of Pope Francis, the global church has lost a deeply prayerful and prophetic Christian leader.
