Walk My Way Brisbane with ALWS will be back on Saturday 12 September 2026 at QUT Gardens Point and it is sure to be a fun-filled event!

On Saturday 10 May, an inspiring 586 Queenslanders braved the rain to step out at Brisbane Walk My Way to provide food, schooling and shelter to children impacted by war and poverty.

Join us to thank God for our Lutheran Church’s 75 years of ALWS ministry to those the world has forgotten!

Hundreds gathered to thank God for the 75th anniversary of the ALWS at the place where our church agency had its beginnings.

This year the LCANZ celebrates 75 years of serving the most vulnerable through the ministry of Australian Lutheran World Service (ALWS).

LLL was proud to sponsor the Australian Lutheran World Service (ALWS) Walk My Way Ukraine event, and have a team walk for a worthy cause.

An inspiring 872 Queenslanders stepped out at ALWS’ first Brisbane Walk My Way in a message of hope to Ukrainian families displaced by war.

It has been inspiring to watch our Lutheran church community embrace Walk My Way Ukraine and to hear why people are choosing to get involved.

On Saturday 11 May, you can join with the wider Lutheran church and step out at Walk My Way Ukraine to support displaced Ukrainian children and their families.

And it’s not too late to join them! You are invited to participate in the first ever Walk My Way Ukraine on Saturday 11 May in Brisbane City.
