Congratulations to Mr Tyson Kenny upon his appointment as the new Principal of Faith Lutheran College Plainland.

We are delighted to welcome Darren Pope as LLL’s Head of Mission Engagement. This position has been created to strengthen connections to our mission by actively engaging with Christian communities.

LLL has welcomed Karen Pienaar as its new Chief Executive Officer. Karen is an outstanding leader who is well-known to LLL.

Sarah Hoff-Zweck will begin a formal role as LYQ Ministry Lead, having recently been formally admitted to the SMP pathway.

Lutheran school principal Ms Jodie Hoff will be the new Executive Director of Lutheran Education Australia from January 2026.

Ben Hentschke, First Assistant Bishop LCAQD has been re-elected to the LCANZ General Church Board, along with the newly-elected Kelly Matthews.

General Synod has elected Pastor Stephen Schultz as Assistant Bishop of the LCANZ. Incumbent Assistant Bishop Neville Otto did not stand for re-election.

The Office of the District is making an important change by adding the role of Deputy District Executive Officer (DDEO), and two new appointments have been made.

First Assistant Bishop Ben Hentschke has been appointed to the LCANZ’s General Church Board (GCB) for the remainder of the synodical term.
