LCAQD announces new role and appointees
The Office of the District is making an important change by adding the role of Deputy District Executive Officer (DDEO). This is needed to better align with our developing strategic focus and to be better prepared for the impact of the changing governance structure.
John Hoffman will be promoted into the newly established DDEO role. This role is designed to directly support the day to day operations of the Office of the District, allowing the District Executive Officer (DEO) to step into a more strategic and District Church Board (DCB)-focussed function. John has been involved in project managing the LCAQD Governance Transformation Program and is well known across the church. He has a very sound knowledge of the day-to -day issues facing member congregations. He will continue to oversee the Governance Change Project as part of his responsibilities, maintaining momentum to ensure the continuity of that super-important project.
Jodie Bostock has stepped into John Hoffman’s former role.
A full recruitment process was undertaken to find a replacement contract Project Manager, and I am pleased to introduce Jodie Bostock as the new appointee to the role. Jodie will commence on 8 October, on a 15-month contract. Jodie joins us with significant and broad experience in project delivery in complex environments. We are very pleased to share that she is also a Lutheran with family history connected to St Andrew’s congregation in the city. John Hoffman will provide Jodie with a comprehensive handover over the next few weeks, and will remain readily available to assist Jodie as needed.
I pray our work will bring glory to our Lord.
Your fellow servant,
Trevor Ruthenberg
