This year’s Synod will be held at Peace Lutheran College, 50-60 Cowley St, Kamerunga, Cairns,  Friday 30 May-Sunday 1 June 2025.

With just over a month until the LCAQD Synod and the District Pastors Conference, the end dates for registration is fast approaching!

The LCAQD Is pleased to announce that registration for the 2025 Queensland District Pastors Conference (DPC) is now open.

There have been some important changes made to the 2025 Convention of the Synod Friday night dinner function. 

This year’s District Synod times have been made public. Delegates should arrive in Cairns on 29 May in order make the Friday morning start.

With many delegates needing to travel a greater distance, there has been a slight alteration to the timing of Synod sessions this year.

In a post-Synod message to the church, LCANZ Bishop Paul Smith encouraged us to pause and reflect on the decisions made by the Synod.

Ben Hentschke, First Assistant Bishop LCAQD has been re-elected to the LCANZ General Church Board, along with the newly-elected Kelly Matthews.
