When I first graduated from Seminary, ‘constitutions’ and ‘governance’ were things that I knew the church had, but I never really wanted to talk about or have to worry about.

The LCAQD is reviewing and seeking to update its Constitution & By-laws and also developing the Lutheran Services and LEQ Constitutions.

The District Pastors’ Conference, Grounded in Grace Conferences, and Convention of Synod will all be held within the same week.

GTC and DTC are holding a number of briefing sessions to present an update on the progress of the Governance Change Program.

The DCB has announced a number of resignations and new appointments to its membership since Synod 2022 and called for people within the LCAQD to consider nominating for a position on a governing body.

This year the LCAQD Ministry Summit and District Pastors’ conference will be held in parallel, under the theme Grounded in Grace.
