LEQ Executive Director set to retire
After 25 years in Lutheran education, LEQ’s Executive Director Tanya Crooks is set to retire, with a new ED to be welcomed in Term 4. Ms Crooks reflected upon her time in Lutheran education as ‘a journey of grace’.
‘Throughout my career, I have been blessed by extraordinary colleagues whose dedication, wisdom, kindness, patience, humour, and generosity have enriched my professional and personal life. Together, we have navigated change, celebrated successes, faced challenges, and remained committed to the shared mission of providing an education grounded in the Gospel. The friendships forged through this work have been among its greatest gifts,’ Ms Crooks shared.
‘One of the most resonant lessons of my time in Lutheran education is that we are called to walk alongside one another. I remain deeply thankful for those who walked alongside me.’
The LCAQD expresses its gratitude to Tanya for her exceptional leadership and unwavering dedication, vision and guidance. You will be greatly missed as you embark on this new chapter. May God bless you with a rich and joy-filled retirement!
