Live-streamed Worship Still Draws a Crowd
The impact of COVID-19 drew attention to the importance of community participation for the vulnerable. Pastors and others acted swiftly to connect members and others with Christian worship in the only ways that were possible at the time – by offering live-streamed worship and in some cases the opportunity to engage with one another via Zoom or Teams.
Since 2023, while the impact of COVID-19 may have lessened, a number of LCAQD Congregations continue to provide online worship content, reflecting the diversity of worship styles employed across our district. A list of those congregations may be found below. Note: Have we missed your LCAQD congregation in this list? If so, please let us know: communications@qld.lca.org.au.
LCAQD Congregations providing online worship content include (in alphabetical order):
Ashmore: Trinity Lutheran Church: weekly devotions which mirror the in-person sermon content.
Buderim: Immanuel Lutheran Church
Dalby: St Mark’s Lutheran Church
Everton Hills: Prince of Peace Lutheran Church: streaming Sunday 9am worship via YouTube, with sermons uploaded weekly.
