Closure of Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, Toowoomba

At 10am on Sunday 30th October 2022, Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, Toowoomba officially closed. Bishop Mark Vainikka led the service with Holy Communion, preaching on Psalm 46. Pastor Robin Hoffmann assisted as liturgist. 108 people attended the service, which was followed by a community luncheon.

“I served Our Saviour’s congregation for four years in the early 2000s,” shared Bishop Mark. “It was an especially emotional and difficult service from that perspective as we have many wonderful memories as a family from our time there.”
