Synod Prayers…from One who Cares!

Throughout Synod 2022 we were blessed to have chaplains praying for the presenters and for their ministries. One of them – Pastor Rob Edwards of Peace Lutheran Church Gatton – composed prayers that rhyme. Each prayer was a delightful poem of supplication to our God who cares for each one of us!  Here is Pastor Rob’s prayer for Lutheran Education QLD:

Lord, we thankyou for the work of LEQ,

We thankyou for their work in mission for you.

Bless all the people who work in and for our schools,

Bless those in leadership as they navigate the rules.

Watch over all the children to whom we minister,

May our impact on their lives resound in them forever.

Watch over our teachers, and continue to shower,

Each one with grace and peace, and with the Spirit’s power.
