Lose the Moustache for Lutheran Media!

It has been about 8 years from what I can remember from when I had a full clean-shaven face. But on April the 28th, that is going to change. My amazing (in my eyes) moustache and beard are going to removed as part of ‘Lose the Moustache for Lutheran Media’.

For those of you who don’t know me, I’m Pastor Ben Hentschke, and I serve as the 2nd Assistant Bishop of the LCAQD; Lead Pastor at Ipswich Parish; and Chairperson of the Committee for Lutheran Media.

It was, coincidentally, around 8 years ago when I was elected to serve on the Lutheran Media board. I always have had an interest in media and as a pastor, I am passionate about sharing messages of hope (the Gospel). To be involved with Lutheran Media was for me, a no-brainer.

What Lutheran Media do is they seek to inspire and encourage people with messages of hope. They do this solely through the donations of individuals like you and me, as they receive no formal funding from the LCA.

An example of these messages are:
• Social media posts (billions of users worldwide)
• 30 second, 1 minute and 15 minute radio messages (broadcast on over 800 stations across Australia, New Zealand and the world)
• YouTube video clips (a recent video receiving 2million + views)

The ‘Lose the Moustache for Lutheran Media’ campaign seeks to raise $5000 to rid me of my moustache, but also help support you in your mission and ministry.

Your gift will allow Lutheran Media to continue creating relevant and engaging content, to aid and assist you as you seek to reach your local community with the Gospel message.
