Community Education Officer – Schools & Churches (0.4FTE)

Australian Lutheran World Service (ALWS) is seeking to appoint a part-time Community Education Officer – Schools & Churches, based in greater Brisbane. In this dynamic role you will support Lutheran school communities and churches to engage with issues of global justice, poverty, displacement and development. Working primarily through teachers, you will support the delivery of ALWS curriculum units, develop supporting educational resources and facilitate professional development sessions for teachers. You will also contribute to student engagement through the delivery of workshops and devotions in schools, and help congregations connect faith with action and inspiring people to respond in love through advocacy and fundraising.
