Replenished!

45 women recently gathered for Replenish Women’s retreat at Luther Heights. Ladies came from as far as Chinchilla, Tallebudgera and Baffle Creek (north of Bundaberg) to do as much – or as little – as they liked.

The program offered flying fox, prayer and worship electives as well as the ‘Grace Laced’ retreat for spouses of pastors. Thanks to the generosity of the Lutheran Laypeople’s League, fourteen spouses of pastors were treated to a lunch at Coolum Beach Hotel as a way of saying thank you for the unique ways they serve the LCAQD.

Replenish participants told us that they appreciated the food and not having to prepare it, get-to-know-you activities, electives, seeing old friends and making new ones, time to chill, the environment and space to be creative.

As one participant said: ‘You come to camp and all the balls are in the air. By the end of the weekend the balls have settled and you can see which order to put them in.’
