In Memoriam: Rev Paul Renner

As a District, we thank God for the life of Pastor Herbert Paul Vincent ‘Paul’ Renner, who died on Saturday 3 September 2022 at St Paul’s Aged Care in Caboolture Qld, age 95.

Pastor Paul’s faithful service to his Lord and the church included: Ordained on 11 April 1948 at St Pauls Eudunda SA; service at Whyalla SA (1948-1952), Canberra-Snowy Mountains ACT (1952-1955), Greater Brisbane Mission (1955-1956), Nambour Qld (1956-1960), Walla Walla NSW (1960-1964), Murgon Qld (1964-1967), Nundah Qld (1967-1981), St Andrews Brisbane Qld (1981-1986), Qld District President (1986-1992); retiring on 31 May 1992.

We pray that God will comfort Pastor Paul’s children Stephanie, Paul Jr. and Tim, their families, and those who feel the pain of his death most deeply.

The funeral will be held at 2pm on Monday 12 September 2022, at St Peters Lutheran College, Indooroopilly.

Please note: the Harts Road entrance to St Peters will be closed and parking across the campus will be limited, so please allow some extra time to find a spot and walk up to the chapel.
