Season of Creation resources

Season of Creation (1 September-4 October) is a time for Christians to come together in prayer and action for God’s creation. The season is celebrated as an alternative to the regular time after Pentecost. Season of Creation is an ecumenical response to the environmental crisis impacting the world. Each year has a particular themed focus connected with an aspect to the environment, to raise awareness and inspire responsible environmental action.

• Queensland Churches Environmental Network (QCEN) Season of Creation App:  The app features a prayer and devotion for each day in Season of Creation. Alternatively you can download a pdf version free.  For those who prefer a physical book a limited number of books have been printed and are available for $10 each plus postage. Contact admin@qct.org.au to order your copy.
• A short video highlighting some of the past photos celebrating creation submitted to QCEN.
• Online art display: This is where submissions to our new online Season of Creation gallery have been posted. There is also an in-person display at St John’s Anglican Cathedral Brisbane, including some new submissions.
