LCAQD Congregation Training Day Resources

A successful day of learning, sharing and equipping our congregations

The LCAQD Training Day held on Saturday 22 August 2026 was a wonderful opportunity for congregational leaders and members to come together, learn, ask questions and build confidence in the important work of our congregations.

The day covered a range of practical topics relevant to congregational life and governance, including the LCAQD Strategic Charter, Governance 101, Human Resources, the CHaT Booklet, Risk Management and Safe Church. These sessions provided helpful guidance and practical tools to assist congregations in carrying out their responsibilities and supporting their ministry and mission.

A particular strength of the day was the opportunity to learn together, share experiences and consider how these topics apply in the local congregational setting. Thank you to all those who attended, our presenters, and everyone who contributed to making the day such a positive and encouraging event.

The District is committed to continuing to support congregations through practical training and resources. We look forward to holding another LCAQD Training Day next year, with further opportunities to learn, connect and grow together in our service of Christ and His Church.
