Two new pastors were welcomed to the Queensland District at the closing of the 2026 Friday afternoon Synod session:

• Rev Stephen Hibbard (Cleveland Lutheran Parish)
• Rev James Leach (St Paul’s Lutheran Church, Caboolture)
