LEQ holds annual Stakeholder Gathering
LEQ celebrated their annual Stakeholder Gathering and Dinner in November. It was a timely opportunity for reflection, connection, and collaboration as leaders in schools explored key developments shaping the future of Lutheran Education in Queensland.
The largest portion of the program focused on Constitution and Incorporation, led by Trevor Ruthenberg (District Executive Officer, LCAQD), alongside John Hoffman (Deputy DEO), Jodie Bostock (Project Manager) and James Tan (Director, Vocare Law). The panel guided participants through key constitutional considerations, governance implications, and next steps in shaping a sustainable and mission-aligned structure for LEQ and its member schools.
In the evening, school leaders gathered for the Annual Dinner — a reminder of our thriving educational communities and shared purpose. The dinner also provided the opportunity to honour the following School Principals who finish their service at the end of 2025:
- Anthony Dyer, Good Shepherd Lutheran College – 32 years’ service
- Jodie Hoff, Lutheran Ormeau Rivers District School (LORDS) – 29 years’ service
- Dr Tsae Wong, Trinity Lutheran College – 16 years’ service.
