Ladies, let’s not forget to Replenish
Ladies, let’s not forget to Replenish
It’s been a couple of weeks now since Replenish 2025; a couple of weeks in which I’ve been wondering how to best reflect on another wonderful women’s retreat.
It’s a joy to be able to share this year’s story, and to help encourage anyone who is considering Replenish in 2026.
Before we get to that though, let me tell you another story you might relate to.
It’s the story of what’s happened nearly every time I’ve tried to sit down to write this.
I open my laptop. Then I think, ‘Oo, actually, I just have to put in that click and collect order, or the groceries won’t be ready for pick up tomorrow.’
So, I go to the fridge to check what veggies we actually need. When I turn around, I see the kids have left a mess all over the bench. I wipe the mess and take the tea towel to the laundry.
In the laundry, I remember I have that load of laundry to fold. I quickly sort the baskets, stack them high, and take them upstairs to the bedrooms.
As I walk past the books on my bedside table and think ‘oh yes, someone at work wanted to borrow that book.’
I take it back downstairs to my work bag, and think, ‘Wait, where’s my laptop? Oh yes, it’s over there, I’m writing about Replenish.’
So I finally sit back down, open the screen…. and see the time.
‘Oh. I have to start dinner.’
I think it’s a rhythm most of you will recognize.
It’s not chaos exactly, just life – in full swing. A life full of love, purpose, and a to-do list that never gets shorter.
And it’s why Replenish matters.
Because in the midst of the movement, we need moments to remind us we’re more than the sum of our errands.
That we’re actually women with stories to tell, faith to nurture and joy that deserves some room to rise.
Replenish 2025 was that space.
We were blessed with another sunlit, beachside weekend where the only thing on the agenda was connection – with God, and with each other.
We enjoyed shared meals and spontaneous laughter, worship and walks, and we felt something shift.
We remembered how good it feels to share our stories. To find reflections of ourselves in the women beside us. To be prayed for by someone who sees us.
This year, we were also blessed to see those connections strengthen across generations.
We had more mother-daughter duos come along than ever before, to the point it didn’t just feel like a gathering of friends, but of family.
And through it all, God reminded us that He meets in community, in joy and in the moments we share when we can finally slow down.
It’s not about stepping away from the busyness of life (it certainly started right back up again for me!)
Instead, it’s about stepping back into it with fresh perspective, renewed strength and hope that holds on.
We can’t wait to welcome you in 2026.
