The Lutheran Laypeople’s League (LLL) is a powerful example of faith in action—mobilising people and resources to turn money into a force for good. Established in 1921, LLL has a proud history of offering fee-free savings options for individuals and businesses while supporting the work of the Lutheran Church of Australia (LCA).

LLL, a Religious Charitable Development Fund (RCDF) exists to provide financial and business support to the LCA and other Christian-based organisations through loans to churches, schools, aged care and retirement living facilities, and affiliated organisations—delivering excellent service to customers while safeguarding the interests of investors.

LLL is now seeking an inspiring and strategic Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the organisation into its next chapter of growth, innovation, and positive impact. Reporting to the Board, the CEO will drive the strategic direction of LLL while ensuring financial sustainability, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. This is a unique leadership opportunity to shape the future of a well-established, purpose-led organisation operating in an evolving market and lead a trusted, values-based institution with a strong legacy supported by a skilled team and an engaged Board.

About you:
You are a values-driven leader with significant experience at CEO, MD, or senior executive level within banking, finance, or a related sector. You have a proven track record in driving strategic growth, leading digital transformation, and achieving operational excellence. With strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, you bring a collaborative, ethical leadership style that aligns with LLL’s purpose and values.

Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, finance, economics, or a related field are essential, and postgraduate qualifications (such as an MBA) will be highly regarded.
