The littlest learners of the Cairns community will benefit now and for years to come with the opening of the state-of-the-art Kindergarten at Peace Lutheran College, Cairns, Queensland.

The large, light-filled rooms open onto a sweeping terrace that steps down into a wonderful outdoor area, filled with lush, tropical greenery, where curious children can explore and play.

LLL Australia Head of Client Relationships Sam and Client Relationship Analyst Joe were delighted to attend the official opening dedication.

“The realisation of a new, three-roomed, purpose-built Kindy has been a part of a long-term vision for the College for over a decade,” Principal Shane Jurecky said.

“This investment will provide a strong future pathway for students into the College, as well as allowing local parents to access a high-quality, Christian facility, with dedicated staff.

“The new Kindy will provide an ongoing legacy for the College into the future, allowing future generations to not only hear the good news of Jesus on a daily basis, but also equip them as they commence their learning journey.”

This fantastic facility is the latest impactful project completed by Peace, supported by the strength of the College’s long-term partnership with LLL.

“This project would not have been possible without the contribution of a number of partners, most notably LLL,” Shane said.

“They have been able to assist us personally to navigate the financial challenges of the build in a professional, but relational way.

“We are grateful for the ongoing support and advice from LLL, who have enabled us to finance a project which will have lasting benefits for the college and make a difference in the lives of all who live and work in the space.

“In addition, we also wish to express our thanks for their generous gift of purchasing the new external sign for the Kindergarten building, which has provided the finishing touches.”
