What another cracker of a camping season! We’re so grateful for the incredible blessing of camping ministry. Watching over 200 young people come together across 5 camps this past winter school holidays was just awesome.

From the shores of Coolum Beach to the bush of the Darling Downs, campers experienced God’s love firsthand thanks to an incredible bunch of leaders. 80 volunteer leaders set aside a week out of their lives to serve our young people, connecting with campers, giving them a glimpse into life knowing and leaning on God.

Christian Life Week and Kids Campers bonded, were challenged and grew in activities from oval and beach games, to ziplines, crate climbs, small groups and worship nights.

This season’s camp theme nights allowed imaginations to run wild from ancient to futuristic times with ‘night at the museum’, ‘star wars’ and ‘out of this world’ and the little ‘superheroes’ on Darling Downs Mini to save the day.

Throughout the week camps journeyed through the study ‘The Way’, growing in understanding, exploring what the Christian way of life is like and how God is present in their lives.

God’s love was evident in conversations, worship, skies full of beautiful stars, servant activities, joy, friendship and growth.

The LYQ cup has been overflowing since winter camps!
