Fun and Faith at Central Qld Christian Life Week

In the last week of September we welcomed 23 amazing campers and 11 leaders (including Camp Parents and Pastor) to the beautiful Bucca Retreat in Bundaberg for our Central Queensland Christian Life Week.

With the week being the first-ever CLW experience for approximately half of these campers, as well as the first year the camp was open to Grade 6 students, it was a privilege to watch everyone grow in confidence as the week progressed and form some truly great friendships.

“I grew in my knowledge and understanding of Christ Jesus, I grew in my trust of others and God.”

A fun filled timetable ensured that plenty of fun was had by all, whether it be splashing down the epic on-site waterslide, exploring the various games in ‘Sideshow Alley’ on our Circus Theme Night, playing a big game of Capture the Flag with glow sticks, the ever-popular Messy Games or solving team challenges in the Amazing Race (complete with detours, roadblocks and pit stops for those familiar with the TV show.)
