Synod Art Competition Winners Announced

For the first time, the Synod theme ‘Called according to God’s purpose’ (Romans 8:28) was represented creatively through an art competition sponsored by the Lutheran Laypeople’s League. There were five age categories to encourage a diverse range of entries. In total 18 entries were received. 

The artworks were presented on 16×20 inch canvas and included paintings and drawings. The winning artworks were on display during Synod, and winners were presented with their prizes at the Saturday night dinner function. Winning artworks will be displayed at Lutheran Church House at Milton for 12 months.
