Position Vacant: Executive Director, Lutheran Education Queensland

Lutheran Education Queensland is seeking their next Executive Director to support a network of Lutheran early years, OSHC, schools and colleges serving approximately 30,000 students state-wide.

With the current serving Executive Director planning for retirement at the end of this calendar year, this is a rare opportunity for a credible, trusted and values‑driven Executive to influence the future direction of Lutheran education in Queensland at a system‑wide level.

The Council of LEQ is seeking an accomplished Chief Executive to provide strategic, spiritual and organisational leadership for this significant education ministry.

The LEQ Executive Director (CEO) will:

✝️ Exercise custodianship of LEQ’s Christ‑centred mission, values, and Lutheran identity
📐 Lead strategy execution and organisational performance in partnership with the Council
🏫 Steward a complex system of autonomous learning communities toward long‑term sustainability
🤝 Represent LEQ at the highest levels with Church, government, regulators, and sector partners
📊 Ensure exemplary governance, risk oversight, and financial stewardship across the entity.
