The stream(ing) keeps flowing!

Update May 10, 2022: I have added comments in italics below to help you locate congregations that are continuing to produce online worship content, whether as a livestream or a video upload close to the worship time. 

Please note that not all churches are doing this every Sunday.

When 2020 began, to my knowledge only one LCAQD congregation streamed live worship, thanks to the support of LCA Lutheran Media. Within six months, we had a total of 33 congregations providing online worship content in one way or another. This represented 44% of our LCAQD parishes (other congregations kept connected with one another and with God’s Word in other ways, as appropriate for their contexts.)

Recently I checked how many of these 33 had continued to deliver online worship content, and was amazed to discover that 25 congregations continue to deliver online worship content alongside face-to-face worship. Most of these stream sermons or worship services via YouTube or Facebook. We pray that this content may go where God wants it to and prosper where it is sent (Isaiah 55:11).
