Beenleigh Family Day Care Celebrates 40 Years!

Only the best is good enough for children!

Staff, families, educators and the Bethesda Lutheran Church community all came together on Sunday 4 August 2019 to celebrate 40 years of providing excellent care and education for the children of Beenleigh Family Day Care.

The day was highlighted by a jumping castle, sausage sizzle, face painting and a visit from the baby animal petting zoo. Peter Kneen (Chairman of BFDC Governance Committee) outlined the history of the service, detailing the impact the service has had on the community and thanking QLECS for their support and guidance.

Past staff, educators and families from the service also attended the event and they were able to reminisce about the development of the service and journey that has been travelled in the evolution of the organisation. It was a fabulous celebration and as we look forward to the next 40 years, we know that God will guide our plans to enrich his kingdom in this caring and inclusive community.
