“A little bit of effort on our part, can change another child’s whole future!” This was the comment from a 9-year-old boy in our classroom at St John’s Lutheran School in Kingaroy, as we talked about our recycling roster. Throughout 2021, the Year 4 students have been collecting and sorting the drinks containers around the school. Jar sizes vary; some will need labels removed. There are also some plastic jars suitable for food storage or filling with homemade goodies as Christmas presents. To express interest please send an email to either Nazareth (nazarethlutheran@bigpond.com) or St Andrew’s (standrews.brisbane.qld@lca.org.au) (or both) to make collection/drop off arrangements. If you are not in Brisbane, but would like some… Read more
