Last year the Committee for Care Ministries launched a range of resources to help congregations and Lutheran aged care and community services to celebrate the care work that goes on in our local neighbourhoods, 365 days of the year. Last Saturday LCAQD leaders met in ‘District Assembly,’ in part as preparation for our Convention of Synod in June. Representatives from our LCAQD department councils reflected on how we can move forward together with good governance that allows us to respond to current and future missional opportunities. Thank you to all those who serve us in this way, especially those who volunteer their time.

Young adults from all over QLD have come together at The Gathering 2022 to be inspired by what God is doing in their lives. It was a great opportunity to meet other people and grow in their faith. What an amazing bunch of passionate, friendly, and engaging young people. So excited for the impact they will have in our world.
