Just like the exciting programs that LYQ facilitate with young people, the Brisbane Appeal Dinner is lots of fun with inspiring speakers, great food and company! Importantly it also raises much needed funds to ensure that we can continue to impact young lives in Queensland. Register now for the Brisbane Appeal Dinner to be held at the BTP Conference Centre, Eight Mile Plains on Saturday 28 May.

We officially welcome Tanya Crooks to her new role following her installation on March 13 by Bishop Mark Vainikka. One highlight of the day was to hear the words of support and biblical encouragement from the 14 LEQ Principals and others who attended. Read more

In the recent flooding event in Brisbane, Lutheran Church House (District Office) in Milton was flooded.  The car park was flooded and covered in about 60cm of flood water that left a thin layer of slippery slim. Over a 2-day period volunteer (who all work in the building) used pressure washers and brooms to clean the car park.  We then had all our building systems tested, repaired and commissioned so that the building could be declared safe to use and the power turned back on.  Unfortunately, the lifts were damaged… Read more
