Due to COVID, the survey period for the National Church Life Survey (NCLS) has been extended until February 2022. Churches will receive a survey kit to help them run the 2021 NCLS. A full sample of the kit can be found here

Did you know that volunteers soak used postage stamps to raise $13,000-$15,000 annually to support LCA International mission projects? You can be part of this by posting your used stamps to Eric Wilson, PO Box 2209 Milton Qld 4064, or delivering them to our Milton office for him to collect.

All LCAQD Active Congregational Members Grace and peace to you. As you may be aware the LCAQD has moved to the next phase of the governance change project with a focus on further enhancing the governance model across the district. A Governance Advisory Committee (GAC) has been established by the District Church Board with a mandate to oversee and report back on the production of a detailed and pragmatic Governance and supportive assurance model recommendation. Hospital Chaplaincy is a blessed way that God’s love can “come to life” and you can “come.listen.live.”  –  the last two LCA Convention of Synod themes.  In going to meet people in hospital and listening to their experience of being sick and hospitalised, Hospital Chaplains embody the love and grace of a God – Emmanuel – who loves us, comes to us and does not forget us in our life experiences.  Clinical Pastoral Education training is available in 2022 for compassionate people who would like to begin this important ministry….
