One of 35 Schools Nationally who has been awarded the 5 Star Innovative School Award. Faith Lutheran College was awarded this accolade recently by the EDUCATOR Magazine for their work in Contemporary Transformation in a number of areas including pedagogy and innovative learning environments. Kathy Matuschka (finally) installed
‘You can’t blame everything on COVID’ said Pastor David Schmidt as last Sunday he installed Kathy Matuschka into her role as Assistant Director, Ministry & Mission … the role she commenced in 2018! During the service at Good News, Middle Park, Kathy reflected with thanks on the role that her congregation has played in equipping and forming her for ministry and service within the LCAQD.

Like a fingerprint, every church is different. Every church is shaped by the unique people, personalities and experiences that God has drawn together for a specific purpose. There is value in utilising tools to help congregations understand their unique character, and how they utilise their strengths for potential growth. Next month, every congregation in the LCAQD will have the opportunity to participate in an NCLS (National Church Life) survey. This survey explores 9 Core Qualities, grouped into three areas of church life. Read more.

The Holy Trinity, Nobby 80th Anniversary will be celebrated as a thanksgiving service – 10:00am Sunday 31 October 2021 (with HC). First Assistant Bishop for LCAQD Rev Ben Hentschke will be the guest preacher for the occasion. Please let past members and friends know so that they may have the chance to join in.
