The General Church Board has announced that the in-person sessions of the 20th Convention of General Synod will be held from 9 to 12 February 2023 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. The later-than-anticipated date is due to the unavailability of the convention centre at a time suitable to the LCANZ. More information will be announced as details become available. In a break from tradition, the recently elected General Church Board (GCB) members will be installed during a regular service at their home congregations. In the past, GCB members have been installed at the conclusion of the General Synod at which they were elected.
