📣Exciting news for delegates and visitors to this year's LCAQD Convention of the Synod: Last year's LLL Australia Synod Art Competition Open Category winner Aretha Christie has generously donated her winning entry to be auctioned at the Friday Night Dinner Function on 5 June 2026, with all proceeds going to the United in Hope project. Aretha's submission piece was inspired by several sources. "Firstly, my home country of Indonesia informs this art by way of the batik process and overall design. But my piece is also influenced by aboriginal painting styles, the Brazilian artist Romero Britto, as well as the Chinese artist James He Qi," Aretha explained.The LCAQD extends its thanks and gratitude to Ms Christie for this generous donation.
