For those who are interested in being a part of world-leading research, there are four exciting and funded opportunities for doctoral scholarships.  The ACU-led Research Scholarships close July 7. See:  Models of Intergenerational Learning and Living – Youth Social Enterprise Employment Project; and  Models of Intergenerational Learning and Living – Cooperative Spaces Project  while the QUT-led scholarships  Models of Intergenerational Learning and Living – Inclusive Environments Project, close July 23.  If you know someone in these fields, let them know! 

SYNOD 2020 – Saturday October 10th at Redeemer Lutheran College Rochedale Both the “one-day” Convention of Synod and the “one-day” District Pastor’s Conference will be held on the Campus of Redeemer Lutheran College Rochedale on Saturday 10 October 2020. The District Board is grateful to the Council and Community of Redeemer for welcoming the Synod and Pastor’s Conference onto the campus. Details about attendance and programme will be released as these are finalised.

The Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission has provided guidelines for conducting online AGMs. View or download the guidelines. Bear in mind there might be some state or territory variations. Your District Office will be able to help you.

This year LYQ will be offering a senior (grades 7-12) and a junior (grades 3-6) online camp in the first week of the school holidays, 29 June – 3 July 2020. Campers can expect many of the favourites of previous camps… and more! Find out more details here
