The General Church Board has announced that the in-person sessions of the 20th Convention of General Synod will be held from 9 to 12 February 2023 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. The later-than-anticipated date is due to the unavailability of the convention centre at a time suitable to the LCANZ. More information will be announced as details become available. In a break from tradition, the recently elected General Church Board (GCB) members will be installed during a regular service at their home congregations. In the past, GCB members have been installed at the conclusion of the General Synod at which they were elected. This was, of course, not possible at the online sessions of the 20th General Convention.
