LCAQD has a missional and ministry presence with our indigenous communities throughout North Queensland, with particular representation in Hope Vale, Wujal Wujal and Coen.
Cross-Cultural Ministry
The Queensland Asian Congregation (QAC) connects Chinese and Korean faith communities, meeting in various locations in Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
The PNG Lutheran Wantoks in Cairns are part of the Trinity community.
A Finnish Lutheran congregation is part of the LCAQD, while other European Lutheran congregations, such as Swedes, Norweigans, Germans, Latvians and Estonians, enjoy close relationships with the LCAQD.

Chaplaincy
Aged Care and Hospital Chaplaincy: are managed by Lutheran Services. see Aged and Community Care
School and Early Childhood Chaplaincy: are managed by LEQ and QLECS. See Education and Youth.
LCAQD provides tertiary chaplaincy services in two ways:
- Through the work of LYQ in supporting Young Adults Ministry
- Through ecumenical collaboration via Queensland Churches Together.
Lutheran Women of Queensland (LWQ)
Lutheran Women of Queensland's goal is 'faith, friendship and service in the love of God.' LWQ meets within congregations and zones as well as hosting District and church-wide conferences.

Queensland Lutheran Giving (QLG)
Queensland Lutheran Giving's vision is to enable and to foster Christians and the wider community to make a difference for many, by providing legal and financial structures to facilitate benevolent endeavours. QLG's areas of focus are:
- Necessitous circumstances
- Scholarships
- Disaster relief
- Religious instruction in government schools
LLL Australia (formerly known as Lutheran Laypeople's League)
You can also support ministry and mission in the LCA through legacies, deposits and electronic giving that is managed and facilitated by 'The LLL'.
Lutheran Archives
Lutheran Archives gathers and preserves the stories of God's mission among the people of the LCA. Friends of Lutheran Archives Queensland (FoLAQ) encourages the collection and preservation of archival material in Queensland and promotes the work of the Lutheran Archives. Contact fola@lca.org.au.
