Announcement from District Church Board
Because of the impact of COVID-19 on our ability to safely and equitably gather, the LCAQD District Church Board had to make the difficult decision to cancel the planned convention of synod scheduled for 10 October 2020. (This synod had already been deferred from early June 2020.)
The theme of the proposed Synod was to be ‘Clothed in Christ’ as this theme continues as we look toward Synod 2021:
So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
