LCAQD: Navigating our Future together

This event is for anyone involved in service & ministry (voluntary or paid) in an LCAQD congregation or agency:

• An online gathering ahead of our LCAQD Ministry Summit on September 12, 2022.
• Hear Bishop Mark Vainikka share his thoughts on the future of our church and its agencies.
• Meet and build connections with people from other LCAQD agencies.
• Reflect on what might be possible as God’s family together.

Keynote speaker: Rev. Dr Bishop Mark Vainikka, Bishop LCAQD

Born in Finland, Mark is an immigrant, a family member and a marathon runner. In 2021 Mark completed a PhD and was also elected as LCAQD Bishop.

Mark passionately believes that mission is God’s work through us. As we join in God’s mission we begin to understand our identity as church.

For Mark, the local congregations and agencies are the foundational mission entities of the LCAQD. Hence Mark’s invitation to join him as we navigate the future together!
