Lenten Appeal 2020

The season of Lent is a time to fix our eyes on the cross of Jesus, who lived on earth as the ultimate revelation of God’s love and mercy. By donating to Lutheran Services’ Lenten Appeal 2020, you can respond to God’s love and provision for you by assisting others in need.

Lutheran Services exists to serve, engaging 2000 Queenslanders with God’s love in everyday life. The theme of this year’s appeal is ‘Life in Abundance,’ and these are our special projects:

• Provide welcome packs especially for teens at Mary and Martha’s Refuge
• Provide an opportunity for an Aged Care resident to tick an experience off their bucket list
• Put a chaplain in hospital by helping to pay for his or her training program
• Make a General Donation for Lutheran Services to use where it’s most needed

The Appeal runs from Ash Wednesday February 26 to Easter Sunday April 12, with payments received to the end of the financial year.
