LCAQD training & communication sessions for Congregation Councils

Dear Congregational Council Members,

Grace and peace to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

At our last Synod gathering, a clear need emerged for continued training and development opportunities for those serving across the District.

In response, we are pleased to share that the District will be hosting regular training and communication sessions. These sessions will cover a range of topics, including governance, employment matters, risk and financial management, and leadership development—all with the goal of equipping God’s people to serve His Church faithfully and well. We recently requested your priority needs and will be using this information to inform our sessions.

To continue our sessions from last year we will commence this year’s sessions on Wednesday 4^th March 2026 from 5.30 – 7pm EST.

This month’s session will focus on the CHAT booklet (see link to Admin/ Resources/ CHaT: Administration – Qld District) – assisting congregation council members to better understand their commitments, e.g. governance and compliances activities.
