Cross Lutheran Church Mt Sylvia, Closes its Doors

Cross Lutheran Church Mt Sylvia closed its doors on 19 March 2023. First Assistant Bishop Ben Hentschke, who officiated at the closure, shared, “I truly believe each local church is a beacon of hope within the community that it is placed. So it is with some sense of sadness that I closed the doors for the final time at Cross Lutheran Church, Mt Sylvia today…while tinged with sadness we truly celebrate all that God has done and continues to do through the people who have attended here, and know God continues to shine his light and love over the Mt Sylvia community, now and into the future.”
