Queensland Floods Flexible Funding Grants

The Department of Communities, Housing and Digital Economy has announced grants of up to $100,000 to help Queensland communities recover from rainfall and flooding events in 2021 and 2022, thanks to a $6 million Round One recovery package jointly funded by the Australian and Qld Governments. Applications opened Monday 26 September 2022 and close 2pm Friday 21 October 2022.
Queensland-based community groups, local councils, non-government organisations, peak & industry groups, and research bodies delivering in or to the 39 disaster-impacted local government areas are encouraged to apply for either or both small grants (between $2,500 and $50,000) or large grants (between $50,001 and $100,000) to support events, activities and programs that drive community recovery activities, increase awareness and build local resilience.

- Flinders Shire
- Fraser Coast Region
- Gladstone Region
- Gold Coast City
- Goondiwindi Region
- Gympie Region
- Ipswich City
- Isaac Region
- Kowanyama Aboriginal Shire
- Livingstone Shire
- Lockyer Valley Region
- Logan City
- Longreach Region
- Maranoa Region
- Moreton Bay Region
- Murweh Shire
- Noosa Shire
- North Burnett Region
- Redland City
- Rockhampton Region
- Scenic Rim Region
- Somerset Region
- South Burnett Region

Recipients of Central Queensland Bushfires, Far North and North Queensland Monsoon Trough, and Queensland Bushfire Flexible Funding Grant rounds and new applicants are also encouraged to apply.
