What to do this Sunday?
Today (Friday March 20th), Bishop Paul shared an email about the response of different Christian Churches to the Coronavirus pandemic. It raises some important questions for congregations to address:
Sunday March 22nd – will be the last time most of the Anglican Churches gather for public Sunday worship. Other communities (Roman Catholic and Uniting) have already announced that there services have already been suspended.
Therefore should Lutheran communities of under 100 still meet as planned, but with the purpose of planning together how to work through the coming weeks without Sunday services?
Sunday March 29th – will see public Sunday worship suspended in all Queensland Uniting, Roman Catholic and Anglican Churches.
How can Lutherans join with these other denominations in our corporate Christian witness?
On the LCAQD Mission and Ministry Resource page, under the Church Offline tabs, you will find some information that may help you reorient your community to being ‘Church Offline’. Click on the link to take you there.
