LUTHERAN THEOLOGY BOOKS FOR UGANDA
LUTHERAN THEOLOGY BOOKS FOR UGANDA
Immanuel Lutheran Church, Buderim, as one part of their mission focus, has been supporting missions teams to Uganda every two years, since 2008. In November this year, another team will be heading over. Part of their work will be with Lutheran congregations in the eastern part of Uganda. A Lutheran Seminary has now been established, but for many of the students, sourcing theological books is beyond their means. The team is looking to take any books across that people may have and no longer use. Particularly, they are looking for copies of:
- Bible Dictionary
- Bible Commentary
- Lutheranism 101
- Lion’s Handbook to the Bible
- Introduction to the Books of the Bible
- Martin Luther – 95 Theses
- The Protestant Reformation
- Summary of Christian Doctrine
- Teaching the Faith at Home
- Devotional Bible
- Book of Concord
- Greek bible
- Joy in the Parish
- Lutheran Primer for Preaching
- Pastoral Care Companion
As well as the Immanuel Church office in Buderim, books can also be left at District office, 24 Mc Dougall St, Milton.
