Advice to Delegates and Congregations. Congregations are encouraged to ensure delegates bring a Synod Offering with them. There will be a Friday night function and a Saturday night dinner. Invoices for delegates are issued to Congregations and Colleges for their delegate entitlement. Payment of the delegate invoice does NOT mean a delegate has been registered to attend. Delegates must go on-line to register that they will attend and indicate meals, book of reports, elective and other requirements they may have. Where a congregation is unable to send delegate protocol requires Congregation Chairs to submit an apology to Secretary DCC. This can be done using the on-line registration system. Everyone is important. The Convention will be conducted within the Pacific Lutheran College hall. It will be equipped with wifi. Telstra and Optus mobile coverage is approximately 3 bars. It is recommended you download the book of reports onto your iPad or tablet in advance of convention. For those who like the paper version, hard copies may be purchased on the on-line registration system however, the lead time for printing and post means orders close about 30 days in advance of Convention. Reports will typically be well over 300 pages A4 size in length.
